Ehsan’s students in Kandahar design logo for Afghan-Canadian Community Center
Jump to Comments
I’m proud to announce that, after much deliberation, we have chosen the logo for the Afghan-Canadian Community Center. More than 20 students submitted logos for consideration, and while all of them were excellent, we feel that the one chosen best represents the spirit of this project.
The student whose logo was chosen will receive an award during the inauguration of the ACCC.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

Do not become the candle that gives light to others but itself remains in darkness. Do not follow the desires of your lower self. Should the Lord wish, He himself will pick you out and prompt you to be a source of guidance? He Himself shall endow you with the inner strength to endure the changes of fortune and will instill within you infinite wisdom.

Practice what you have learned, for theory without practice is like a spirit without a body. One who is content with learning alone is not learned, for the truly learned seeks more than mere words. Divine guidance entails self-mortification, without which contemplation is unattainable.
