The Afghan School Project

The staff and students of the ACCC were honoured to have the Deputy Governor of Kandahar, Dr. Ghulam Jelani Hamayoon, and the Economic Director, Mr. Rahimi, visit the Afghan-Canadian Community Center on January 23rd. The deputy governor was impressed by the ACCC and the courses that will be offered to the students, particularly the online courses from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). We would like to extend our thanks to the deputy governor and Mr. Rahimi for visiting the ACCC, and hope they will return once the school is fully operational.
