General Manager of the AWCC visits ACCC, provides gifts and supplies to staff and students
Eng. Ahmad Shah of the Afghan Wireless Communications Company (AWCC) recently visited the Afghan-Canadian Community Centre. During the visit, Ahmad Shah generously provided 200 mobile phone cards (SIM cards) to staff and students. A few days later, representatives of the AWCC provided students of the ACCC with 30 school bags full of school supplies.
The AWCC’s valuable donations will help to improve the quality of life for women in the Kandahar area by providing them with access to modern communications services as well as the school supplies they require to make the most of the educational opportunities offered by the ACCC.
The staff at the Afghan School Project and the staff and students of the ACCC would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ahmad Shah and the AWCCC for their generosity and their support for women’s education. We hope that Eng. Ahmad Shah will be able to return to the ACCC again in the future to see the impact of the AWCC’s donations.
