Computer lab to be dedicated to Brendan Choi, second new lab will also be built
In recognition of Brendan Choi’s exceptionally generous donation of US$1,730, a portion of the new computer facilities at the Afghan Canadian Community Center (ACCC) will be named the Brendan Choi Computer Lab. The Brendan Choi Computer Lab, to consist of ten computer workstations, will be used by students at the ACCC to further their education and support ongoing courses in Information Technology, business management and health care.
Thanks to the support of several other generous individuals, we will also be able to create a second lab of equal size. The ACCC currently operates three other computer labs. I would like to use this occasion to thank all of you who donated to this project. It is through the generosity of our donors that small projects like ourselves can have such wide-ranging reach. The ACCC is able to provide more effective training to a larger number of students than many similar projects with many times our budget.
To all of you who believe in the work being done at the ACCC to further education, development and human rights, I hope that you will continue to visit our site to check on our progress and that you will tell your friends and associates about the incredible work being done by the staff and students at the ACCC. Your assistance allows us to continue to provide 100% of all donations directly to the school.
