Adopt-a-Student
Interested in donating to a worthwhile cause, but want to know where your money’s going? Looking for that perfect wedding, birthday or holiday gift, but want to get something special? Is your school or class looking for a worthwhile social justice project? Sponsor a student from the Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC) through our Adopt-a-Student Program!
For between $10 to $20 per month (depending on the student’s program), you can provide a scholarship to a specific student at the ACCC in Kandahar, whom you can learn about through their student profile. Your support will provide the life-changing gift of education to a student in need and help make a real and lasting difference in Afghanistan.
Adopt-a-Student also makes a great gift. Just let us know that you would like to receive a gift package, and we will prepare a package that includes a personalized letter from the Learning Foundation, a student profile, and information regarding the Afghan-Canadian Community Center and the Canadian International Learning Foundation. What’s more, all donations over $20 are eligible for tax receipts.
If your class or school is looking for a social justice project, adopting a student at the ACCC is the perfect place to start. Your students will be able to communicate with the Afghan students whose education they are helping to fund. This will give your students a new appreciation for their own education and inspire our students to repay your gift by making a lasting contribution to her community and the future of Afghanistan.
The education provided by the Afghan-Canadian Community Center has helped hundreds of students and graduates obtain valuable employment and each employed ACCC student provides economic support to seven members of their immediate and extended family. We need your help to offer this life-changing opportunity to students in Kandahar.
To Adopt-a-Student, please contact us by e-mail at adoptastudent@canilf.org or by phone at (613) 614-5349. 100% of all donations made via the Adopt a Student program go directly to funding scholarships at the ACCC.

In the name of Allah
Today our topic is about ACCC (Afghan Canadian Community center)
First of all every person has a wish to reach their goal. That is too hard for us to solve all of our problems, and we should fight the problems to solve, but we also need a leader, a guide, in fact, in this situation, especially the girls need a guide to help with them. This is hard for the girls to get permission from their parents to go to schools and centers. But we should never become hopeless because every problem has a solution that we can solve that problem. And if we study at a place like ACCC, we can find a good leader, a good guide there and can show us right path of education so make our future and become famous person by ACC Center. ACC Center is also a place that our parents give easily permission to join ACC Center because of that it is in a secure place and has well known principal and expert teachers and good transportation system and good electricity and good computers and internet facility and the support of the people of Canada. There are also those people they want to study but due to lack of money they can’t get education and they are thinking that they are deprived of getting education, but ACC Center never get them to become hopeless. ACC Center helps them and ACC Center gives them a helping hand just like one’s parents and give them a chance to reach their goal and can share that education with coming generation. ACC Center not only is a training place, but it is also like a tree to give shade and fruit and help to everyone.

This comment from Abida is so inspiring. This is the very reason that supporters of the ACCC must continue to work hard to make it happen for all of the students who are currently enrolled at the school and for the future students who will need the same kind of support to help them reach their goals. Great comment and my heart is with all of the students and faculty. Keep up the great work!

Dear Abida Sister,
Thank you for this very beautiful comment and let me add this over your comment: Dr. Esmat at UN says, “ACCC is just like a stream of water flowing in a desert. The thirst come, quench their thirst and go.”
As a matter of fact, the people of southwest region of Afghanistant would not have this golden opportunity unless we had the support of the great people of Canada.
Best Regards,
Ehsan

We women have few chances of education the question is how to use them in proper way?
In my point of view as we better know that women have less chance of education in Afghanistan so those women who have chance for getting education they shouldn’t misuse this golden chance means:
They have to study hard for their future.
They have to study hard for the future of their country.
They have to study hard for the future of their society and family.
These golden chances like ACCC (Afghan Canadian Community Center) must be used them in proper way.
Because studying for the future can make their life perfect and will be relax in all over their life, studying for the future of country, society, and family they will be secured and will be living in peaceful environments so this is the point that women can cash in on this less chance of education.
If the women of Afghanistan especially the women of Kandahar city if they think all over the mentioned ideas then those men who don’t leave their daughters for getting education will learn from them.
Because education is the only thing which can bring fluency and eloquence in life.
So if the women applied those things then I am pretty sure that these women will bring up the new generations on the same way.
And the new generations will be more committed and attentive to their studies for their life, country, society and family. So we women must struggle a lot for future and for the future of our country Afghanistan to give improvement.

How to upgrade women standard in our society?
people must know the rights of women and give them their rights properly.
Second to the women must be given freedom in accordance to Islam.
Third people must not criticize women’s right such as: Getting education, taking part in the society, giving positive ideas and etc…
Sometimes women give an essential and positive idea but men think negative of that idea. If that is a negative idea then men must not take it as negative so in this case it can also be a right for women from men.
As I know that violence is going on in our society for instance with out her permission her father is giving his daughter to an old, uneducated and smoker person instead of money like twenty, thirty, forty lacks.
For these money father makes his daughter’s life worse so it is violence with women that the father do acting like that. so because of those mentioned things women are disappointed from their life and they think that our future will be destroy so why I should work hard or why I should get education.
In the conclusion as I mentioned first that men must respect women’s rights and leave them for getting education outside or inside and women must be allowed equal as men in cover of Islam.
Sincerely Anita Taraky

The Process of election in Kandahar passed!
More then 13 missiles (Rockets) were fired in Kandahar city but still the people went for voting. No vehicles were allowed; only few had the access cards /passes.
History has taught us over and over again that freedom is not free. When push comes to shove, the ultimate protectors of freedom and liberty are the brave men and women in our armed forces. Throughout our history, they’ve answered the call in bravery and sacrifice.
I was as an agent in the election process, what made me too glad was uneducated men and women were coming to vote, even they didn’t know how to vote, how to take the pen, while they were taking election cards the names they had given they didn’t remember that, and they were taking all their family names to match the card name!
I don’t think that bravery is about skin. Bravery is about a willingness to show emotional need.
When I woke up at 6:00am Thursday 20th august 2009. While there was firing all the night, I thought that no one is going to come to the election because of the situation. Although people were frightened too, till 10am the city was calm and empty but slowly slowly the number of people increased. Though all the voting day fighting was going on but can’t believe that the people were getting off of their houses with their wives! It was a great feeling like really the people want peace, and they are tired of everyday bombing.
But somewhere the election was not in progress, In Wardak Province, only and only 1 man went to vote, unbelievable!!!!! And “YES” in Daman the Talibans warned the people not going to vote, if they did they will cut their fingers.
I think I have become like a broadcaster giving the news. But I am glad to share my memory of yesterday with you all. Hope you have enjoyed reading it.
Kind regards,
P.S. All the info above isn’t taken from any news channels or websites, it’s my own.

Yelda Jan,
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the election. It is one thing for us to see it on the news, but so much more meaningful to hear about it from someone who was there. I hope you will continue to share your thoughts on our site, and I wish you the very best in your goal of becoming a broadcaster.

Today our topic is about Ramadan
As every one know very well that there are 12 months in year and there is one month among them that is very Holy and comprehensive to Allah .
That is month of Ramadan.
During this month people ought to keep past and do good behavior with people they must offer the pray and recite Holy Quran a lot because Quran is reveille in this month.
The past doesn’t mean that they should stop eating and drinking, infect it’s month of grass, the people shouldn’t do backbit, and also not bother someone because this month is just for pray and recite holy Quran.
If a person have done bad work this month is a great possibility for them to want sorry from Allah and Allah have promised with people that if they want sorry from me in this month ,I will forgive them .
Ramadan is the most holy month in year, Allah give us an opportunity to pray and recite Holy Quran in this month and give charity to poor people, and if a person pray and recite Holy Quran Allah will give them happiness and safe them from every sadness and also forgive his all sin.

Violence against women
First of all I want to say that who is woman? Allah made women for what? Which rights Allah give to woman? And then who want to do violence against woman? and why? And which kind of violence continue against woman? In which countries violence continue against woman? and now I want to say that woman is an angle of our life which make our life bright and give us a lot of happiness in our life and Allah make this angle very soft and kind and send her like bless for men because when Allah made Baba Adam in haven and than he sent him to the world because he did some mistake than he was alone and than Allah made from his left shoulder Bibi Hawa for him and than they start their life tighter so this is very important that without woman man cant live and without man woman cant live and Allah said in holy quran that I give every kind of right to men and I also give that rights to women but it has differences because Allah said that I made women and men different so for that their minds and their actions and every things that they do in their life that is different but their rights are equal and now I want to say that women is a mother a sister wife and life of people and without woman life is very difficult so woman also have right that she should study she should work for her country with men she should have rights about her children so if Allah give rights to women and men the same and make them equal so why we said that man is better than woman and we are doing violence against women in a lot of others countries it is not allow that they do violence against women but in some countries this is continue that they are doing violence against women and our country Afghanistan is also in the list of these countries and people of Afghanistan are the best in violence against woman they are doing deferent violence against women for example they ate not give permeations to their wives their daughters their sisters and mothers to do education and work out side and this is very simple violence against women because they are hitting women they are use them like animals or they think that woman is our servant and she should stay at home and make dinner for us wash our cloths and clean our houses or when we come to home than we will hit her sometime some of people killed their wives when sometime their sometime their sons killed someone so they give them their daughters they also married women very young and this is not halal in Islam because if they marry their daughters very young so they will have a lot of problems in in-laws and they will don’t know how to make home for them than the husband do anther married and they left her alone and when she saw her husband and his second wife happy than she become gallous with her and when she find a chance then she killed her they are also sell their women by money and they told to that woman that you are my servant because your family take money from me in front of you and also he always abuse her and than she become tired of her life and sometime she take divorced from husband or when she cant do this than she killed her self and her family said nothing to her husband because they think that if we said some thing to her husband than all people will know that our daughter killed her self and this will be very shim full for us and they are not thinking that we are living a criminal and if today our daughter killed her self because of him tomorrow some one else will die because of him and sometime when a girl talk in front of her father or brother so they said that she is not good girl and her family hit her than she also killed her self and that is very big crime and government should do actions in this case but unfortunately government is doing nothing and they said that it is her family problem so that is a big reason that always we and our country is in problems because we are not following Islam because we are making culture strong than Islam because some of our people made a culture that do violence against women so tell now we are following that culture but we forgot that Islam said that don’t do violence against women so now if I mention all violence against women so my all life will finish but violence against women will not finish so I hope from our people and our government to stop violence against women and give them their rights and freedom and let them to work shoulder by shoulder with men so that time our problems will solve and our country will become in list of leading countries.

In the name of Allah
Today our topic is about Peace and Conflict.
As we know that peace is the most beautiful word. So peace is a word that the entire alive creatures need human or animal. Peace is important for the progressing of a country. If there is peace in one country so that country can progress as soon as well. Conflict brings Cries and does not let people to work, get education. A peace of conflict is a journal about conflict and ways to transform conflict into non-violence. it’s about showing the violence around the world in its cultural, structural and direct manifestations. it’s about reflection on violence and long-winded rants about political systems, crimes, aid, development and possibilities. it’s about people and the ways they interact. it’s also about hope. it’s about working together to discuss what we all hope for–peace. so bring your voice and help us discover the way to a peaceful existence.
all violence can be transformed into non-violence, but it takes work to make this happen. it takes study, research and most of all patience. we must all learn to work together– no matter our differences; and make this world a better place for all of us to live. people don’t deserve to live in poverty: denied of land or work or education or water or any other basic right that any person deserves. why have documents like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and display them so proudly as a value; when we don’t respect them enough to punish those who would violate them.
Thanks
Sharifa

Education is one word but having lots of meaning and denotation. Education means freedom from poverty and gives ability to inspire others with the light of knowledge. Education is the ability to try, to make a mistake, to learn, and to try again. Education is so much more than simply sitting in a classroom lecture. It is experiencing the world, taking risks, getting involved, helping people, it is our total self, it is awareness of self.
At the of my words I would like to gratitude the donors who constantly donating and providing facilities and amenities to Afghans, you (DONORS) have good feelings and sentiment for Afghans.
Cordially,
Ali Raza

Dear all,
Today my topic is about Brain Research.
Brain Research (Continued)
1. Give examples of the differences between in the past and today.
Answer: some of the differences between childhood in the past and today result from changing attitudes. Other grew out of advances in technology or social changes.
• Work.
• Play.
• Education.
• Health.
• Dress.
• Parental love. It is not changed for their children.
2. Briefly describe the findings of each of the following theorists of child development.
Answer:
• Freud. Freud believes that personality develops through a series of stages. Emotional experience in childhood has profound effects on a person as adult.
• Montessori. Montessori stressed that children learn by using their senses and that they learn best by pursuing their interests.
• Piaget. Piaget, the first to study children in a scientific way, focused on how children learned. He said that children go through four stages of thinking that shape how they see and learn about the world.
• Coles. Coles has studied children’s moral development. He stresses the important role that parent and other caregivers play by the examples they set.
3. Identify approximately when the brain begins to control the following functions:
Answer:
• Motor development: Starting before birth.
• Vision: Starting in the first year.
• Vocabulary: Starting in the first year.
4. Explain in your own words what the following characteristics of development mean.
Answer:
• Development is similar for everyone: Children go through the same order. For example, all babies lift their head before they lift their body and stand before they can walk.
• Development builds on earlier learning: Development follows step-by-step pattern. like first they learn how to walk and then learn how to run and how to say a word and than after that hoe to speak and more.
• Development proceeds at an individual rate: Although all children follow a similar pattern of development, each child is an individual. The rate of growth differs from one child to another.
• The different areas of development are interrelated: Easier to focus one area of development at a time. In fact, however, changes in many areas are taking place at the same time.
• Development is continuous throughout life: The rate of development changes. Sometimes it is more rapid and sometimes less so. Still, development never stops.
5. Name two major influences on development and give an example of each.
Answer:
• : Heredity: One important influence is heredity, the passing on of certain characteristics from earlier generations. Blood type, eye color, and hair color are some characteristic set by heredity.
• Environment: An other major influence is the environment, the people, place, and things that surround and influence a person. Friends and community are part of your environment.
6. What are three developmental tasks of adolescence?
Answer:
• Finding your identity.
• Becoming independent.
• Planning for your life’s work.
•
7. What are the developmental tasks of different stages of adulthood, and when do they typically take place?
Answer: After adolescence comes young adulthood, when a person is in his or her twenties.
In the middle life, from the thirties to the fifties, a person typically meets these tasks:
Establishing roots, during the thirties, often means forming a family and settling down on live in a particular place.
Finding stability and peace, in the fifties, is a matter of readjusting. People in their fifties often have a new sense of freedom as result. They may travel or have time with friends.
The final stage of adulthood is late life, which covers the years from the sixties on.
The main development task for a person in this period is to come to terms with life.

by the name of allah today my topic is about women education.
As women are members of a society so they must also get education and work for their county. Also in Islam holy religion that men and women have equal rights and women must also get education like men. The great prophet of Islam said that getting education is accentual for both men and women. First because the right of women’s like men. Second because women are half part of a society and they joint in all problem of society with men. So women must also get education till in solving of a society problem in all parts like economic. Social. Political. Agriculture. Industrial and in other problems get part with men. I thing if women in conformity with Islam terms have importance in a society and getting education and getting of other excellences. So certainly the problem of the society will be decreased and there will be no problem in the society. If we thing correctwomen as a human has also social distinctions. Mohammad p.b.u.h. who is the leader of Muslims did that women also must get education as men. Till their country be safe from damage of natural and other events and make their country together.

Education is good or money
As we know that education is most important than money. We can’t compare education with money and anything else. Education has value in the World. Education is good than money because if we have money so one day it will be finish but education won’t. Money will be stole but education won’t be because it will be with us forever. If we don’t have education we will be like a blind person .As we know that a blind person can’t see the way so an uneducated person also can’t know. There are some people who give value to money and every time they are busy in collecting of money and when their money will be finish then they will know the value of education. If we have education we can find money. In Islam also education is compulsory on male or female .education is best friend of us but money isn’t. We can promote our country by the help of education. If we see to our country our country has a lot of treasury but we can’t find it because our people don’t have education. They don’t know that how can we find it so because of it the foreign country’s people comes and stoles our treasury. Education is necessary for us every where and it can help with us in every country. So education is more, more and more well than money.

In the name of the most merciful Allah
Money is better or education is better
First of all I want to say that what is education? And what is money? And why we need to money or education? And now I want to say that money is the need of our life and I think education is the most beautiful and important word in the world and when this world start and Allah found human in the world from that time education start because when Allah said to angles that I make a human and you all will do prostration for him so they all told to Allah that he will not follow your orders and he will not follow right way and he will killed other people but Allah said that no I give him mind and Allah called Baba Adam and angles and Allah asked some question from angles and from Baba Adam but angles cant give the answers but Baba Adam knew all questions and he had all education about every thing and he knew all the languages so I want to say that education is hypothesis on every mal or female from cradle to grave uneducated people are like blind people because they have eyes but they cant see and they don’t know that we are going on which way so uneducated people are the same and they don’t know Allah and his rolls better or if a person don’t know Allah better so he don’t know that what is right and what is wrong and they can do every thing for example they can take bribe they can killed people they can steel things and etc or some people say that we should learn only that education that help us in other world but we should get all that education that is necessity in our life because by education we can do every thing and now I want to talk about our issue that money is important or education is important and I think both are important but education is more important than money because if we look to that in the way of Islam so we will know that money is habit of Pharaoh and education is habit of our profit and money will send us to hill but education will send us to paradise because if we had a lot of money so we will thing that we are the king of this world and we will forget that only Allah is the king of this world and we will forced people to follow our orders or if they are not follow us so we will killed them and no one will say something to us because of our money or some time because of money we will become anomy of our brothers or if we have a lot of money we will not do any thing and when our money finish so our life will become very difficult but if we have education so that will always with us and no one will be able to take our education or to steel our education or tell our life that will with us and also by that we will found money for solution of our life and I want to say one thing important that if some time we don’t have money so we said that if I found a lot of money I will help poor people I will spend my all money in the way of Islam but when he become rich person so he always think about him self he think about his wishes he think that how can he found more money he become greedy and he forget all his promises but money is also important in some moments of our life because if we don’t have money so no one will respect us and we will have no rank in society so for that we should also have some money but we should found that much money that we need and we should found that money in lawfull way not by religious way so in the end I want to repeat once again that education is more important and we should get education if we are in every potion or if we are in every place because our profit said that get education if that is in china it mean if education is very far or if that is very difficult but you should get education.

The Mother That Is Here Only For You
The Mother That Has Lived All These Years For You
The Mother That Is Surviving Only For You
The Mother That Is Here
The Mother That Is There For This Mother Is Everywhere
The Mother That Is Kind
The Mother That Is Warm-Hearted
The Mother That Is Super-Woman
The Mother Of All Mothers
In Islam every day is Mothers Day [Status of Mother in Islam]
One day a man came to see the Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny.
It seemed that he was trying to solve something but couldn’t quite work it out. So he asks Ed the prophet Mohammad [p b u h] and his progeny. Tell me O prophet of Allah; I have many relatives and many friends whom I love and whom I wish to care for and help. But I often find it difficult to decide which of them has the greatest claim upon me? Which of them should come first? The Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny replied immediately, your mother should come first and before all others.
The man was very pleased to have this clear guidance from the prophet Muhammad [p b u h] him his progeny. But of course there were all his other relatives and his friends. So he asked again, And after my mother, who has the greatest claim upon me? The Prophet Muhammad’s [p b u h] and him progeny reply this second time surprised him. Your Mother” he said again.
The man wondered why the Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny was repeating himself. Perhaps he had not spoken clearly. The man thought. So he asked the question again, What I want to know is after my mother, who has the greatest claim upon me? Again the Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny said “your mother”
Your mother, your mother, your mother, The Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny had now said it three times. Slowly, the man realized why he had done so. The Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny means that my mother is extremely important. So much so that my duty to her must be stressed over and over again. Even so, the man’s thoughts ran on, what about all the others I love and wish care for? Still uncertain and wanting to know more. He once gain turned to the Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny and said, and after my mother. Who comes after her? Is there anyone besides her? The Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny than replied after your mother, your father. And then? Asked the man. Then people who are nearest to you. Said the Prophet
Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny.
In another religion Islam. Mother has three times more rights over her off springs than their father because of her significant end crucial rolls in their birth, brought-up and home education.
In another hadith the Prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny has said. Paradise lies at the feet of mothers. In other words Paradise waits those who cherish and respect their mother’s mothers order is to be respected, even on comparison with Allah’s command, on the condition that the action concerned does not fall within the imperative and obligatory injunction. An example of that is jihad, in the way of Allah. or recommended prayers.
A man came in the presence of the prophet Mohammad [ p b u h] and his progeny and said… I like to perform jihad in the cause of Allah, but my mother is not at all inclined towards my doing so. The prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny replied… go back and remain with your mother .I swear by the lord that has sent me on a true mission that to remain with ones mother for one night (and serving her and doing well to her) is better then performing jihad in the cause of Allah for a year.’’
The prophet Muhammad [p b u h] and his progeny said, ‘’ if you are performing recommended prayers and you fathers calls for you. Do not break your prayers. But if your mother calls you, do break your prayers.’’
The prophet Muhammad [p b u h ] and his progeny said..’’ A creature is not to be obeyed when it involves disobedience to the creator.’’
Parents are the ones who always take care of our happiness and always pray to Allah for our brilliant success.
Happiness of Allah and his prophet is in the pleasure of mother, so if anyone want to get paradise.
Respect the mother:
If any one wants to be success in life respect the mother:
If any one wants to be friend of Allah and his prophet respect the mother:
Thanks

In the name of Allah
Today my topic is about Ramandan
As all we know that one has 12 months. And among them there is one month the most Holly and comprehensive to Allah.
That is the Month of Ramadan
Ramadan is a month which gives chance to us to clean our selves from the sins and also ask Allah forgiveness for past sins. Those people who are obligated Ramadan on them, they must keep fast. When they have some problems they can eat but when got ok they have to keep back. Muslims refrain from eating, drinking, and smoking and including anything things in this month Muslims offer prayers more than usual. Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray to guide them in good way. The date of Ramadan changes every year and moving forward about ten days each year as it is a moving festival depending on the moon. The name “Ramadan” had been the name of the ninth month in the Arab world long before the arrival of Islam. Sometimes referred to as “the night of power”,Laylat al-Qadr is considered the most holy night of the year, as it is the night in which the Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. Muslims believe it to have occurred on an odd-numbered night during the last 10 days of Ramadan, either the night of the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th. Ramadan ends with Eid ul-Fitr on the 1 of Shawwal 1 , with much celebration and feasting. During the month following Ramadan, called Shawwal, Muslims are encouraged to fast for a further six days, known as as-Sitta al-Bid, or “the white six.” When fasting is over, Muslims go to Mosques in nice clothes to pray the first Eid prayer. They give out presents to the young ones and greet their friends and families. They then thank God for what God has given them. The most prominent event of this month is fasting. Every day during the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world get up before dawn to eat Sehri or Sahari (it means something we eat at Sahar), the pre-dawn meal, then they perform the fajr (or Sobh) prayer. They have to stop eating and drinking before the call for prayer starts until the fourth prayer of the day, Maghrib. Muslims open their fast at Magrib (at sunset) prayer time or Iftari. Muslims may continue to eat and drink after the sun has set until the next morning’s fajr prayer call. Then the process starts all over. Ramadan is a time of reflecting and worshiping Allah. Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam and to avoid obscene and irreligious sights and sounds. The fast is intended to be an exacting act of deep personal worship in which Muslims seek a raised awareness of closeness to Allah. The act of fasting is said to redirect the heart away from worldly activities, its purpose being to cleanse the inner soul and free it from harm. It also allows Muslims to practice self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, and empathy for those who are less fortunate; thus encouraging actions of generosity and charity(Zakat). The elderly, the chronically ill, and the mentally ill are exempt from fasting, although the first two groups must endeavor to feed the poor in place of their missed fasting. Also exempt are pregnant women, and women nursing their newborns. Lastly, those traveling(musaafir) are exempt, but must make up the days they miss. According to a well-known hadith, the person who observes Ramadan properly will have all their past sins forgiven. According to another, “When Ramadan arrives, Heaven’s gates are opened, Hell’s gates are closed, and the Jinns are chained up” and who ever passes away will enter paradise. In addition to fasting, Muslims are encouraged to read the entire Quran. Some Muslims perform the recitation of the entire Quran by means of special prayers, called Tarawih, which are held in the mosques every night of the month, during which a whole section of the Quran (juz, which is 1/30 of the Quran) is recited. Therefore the entire Quran would be completed at the end of the month. Ramadan is also a time when Muslims are to slow down from worldly affairs and focus on self-reformation, spiritual cleansing and enlightenment, establishing a link between themselves and God through prayer, supplication, charity, good deeds, kindness and helping others. The Islamic holiday of Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the fasting period of Ramadan and the first day of the following month, after another new moon has been sighted. The Eid falls after 29 or 30 days of fasting, per the lunar sighting. Eid ul-Fitr means the Festival of Breaking the Fast; a special celebration is made. Food is donated to the poor (‘Zakat al-Fitr’), everyone puts on their best, usually new, clothes, and communal prayers are held in the early morning, followed by feasting and visiting relatives and friends. The prayer is two rakaahs only, and it is optional (waajib) prayer as opposed to the compulsory five daily prayers. Muslims are expected to do this as an act of worship, and to thank Allah.

What is democracy?
Democracy consists of four basic elements:
I want to begin with an overview of what democracy is. We can think of democracy as a system of government with four key elements:
1. A political system for choosing and replacing the government through free and fair elections.
2. The active participation of the people, as citizens, in politics and civic life.
3. Protection of the human rights of all citizens.
4. A rule of law, in which the laws and procedures apply equally to all citizens.
Democracy, which derives from the Greek word “demos,” or “people,” is defined, basically, as government in which the supreme power is vested in the people. In some forms, democracy can be exercised directly by the people; in large societies, it is by the people through their elected agents. Or, in the memorable phrase of President Abraham Lincoln, democracy is government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
Freedom and democracy are often used interchangeably, but the two are not synonymous. Democracy is indeed a set of ideas and principles about freedom, but it also consists of practices and procedures that have been molded through a long, often tortuous history. Democracy is the institutionalization of freedom.
In the end, people living in a democratic society must serve as the ultimate guardians of their own freedom and must forge their own path toward the ideals set forth in the preamble to the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “Recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace in the world.”

The word “Democracy” has been taken from Latin (Tempus) or Greek language which means people government.

National governance is about how official rights, suffrage, peaceful, securelife, live in quite expansion are all due to people at a national level or democratic area.
Second:
Government of people on people:
This article tries to explain as simply as possible what “Democracy” means. The concept of “Government of people on people” is not new, it is as old human civilizations which divided and rule what ever desired by them, they formally governing on others. Here it is depending on bad governance, recently the term “Bad governance” is being increasingly regarded as one of the root cause of all evil within our societies and it is informal government structures, such as “Kitchen cabinets” or informal may exist.
Third:
Democracy is independent and freedom that must be given by a government, these may freedom of culture, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of work, economical freedom and political freedom. These all autonomous are superior when it’s in limit of Islam so obey the Islam rules that is the best freedom of your life and do good to be independent ,there for we can say “nothing in this world is best or perfect including Islam rules.”
Democracy at once is important to live independent and have freedom according to every thing but in some countries on the other hand it is illegal in Islam.

The best alms is the science and knowledge that issued by the people.
Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) said:
The bravest person is the man who can control his caprice and that’s educated one.
Educated person should keep his or her feet on the ground; there are three factors that don’t let a person to be respectable in the society:
A. The person who thinks that his acts are better and greater than the other.
B. Forgetting the fault.
C. To be self-willed

DEMOCRACY
Democracy is a form of government in which power is held directly or indirectly by citizens under a free electoral system.
Abraham Lincoln said that a democracy is a Government by the people, of the people, for the people.
Essentially, a democracy is a system of government owned and controlled by the majority of those it governs. Decisions on policies and actions by the government are made by the elected representatives of the populace, or by direct plebiscite (propositions decided by a majority vote of the citizens).
To me, democracy means placing trust in the little guy, giving the fruits of nationhood to those who built the nation. Democracy means anyone can grow up to be president, and anyone who doesn’t grow up can be vice president.
Democracy is people of all races, colors, and creeds united by a single dream: to get rich and move to the suburbs away from people of all races, colors, and creeds. Democracy is having time set aside to worship–18 years if you’re Jim Bakker
Democracy means fighting every day for what you deserve, and fighting even harder to keep other weaker people from getting what they deserve
Democracy is a system of government in which either the actual governing is carried out by the people governed (direct democracy), or the power to do so is granted by them (as in representative democracy). The term is derived from the Greek “popular government”which was coined from”people” and, meaning “power” in the middle of the fifth-fourth century BC to denote the political systems then existing in some Greek city-states, notably following a popular uprising in In political theory, democracy describes a small number of related forms of government and also a political philosophy. Even though there is no specific, universally accepted definition of ‘democracy’ there are two principles that any definition of democracy includes, equality and freedom. These principles are reflected by all citizens being equal before the law, and having equal access to power. Additionally, all citizens are able to enjoy legitimized freedoms and liberties, which are usually protected by a constitution.
There are several varieties of democracy, some of which provide better representation and more freedoms for their citizens than others. However, if any democracy is not carefully legislated to avoid an uneven distribution of political power with balances, such as the separation of powers, then a branch of the system of rule could accumulate power and become harmful to the democracy itself.
Furthermore, freedom of political expression, freedom of speech and freedom of the press are essential so that citizens are informed and able to vote in their personal interests.
(though in practice judicial independence is generally maintained). In other cases, “democracy” is used to mean .Democracy has its origins in Ancient Greece. However other cultures have significantly contributed to the evolution of democracy such as Ancient Rome, Europe, and North and South America. Democracy has been called the “last form of government” and has spread considerably across the globe. The Right to vote has been expanded in many Jurisdictions over time from relatively narrow groups (such as wealthy men of a particular ethnic group), with New Zealand the first nation to grant universal suffrage for all its citizens. Suffrage still remains a controversial issue with regard to disputed territories, areas with significant immigration, and countries that exclude certain demographic groups.

What is the advantages and disadvantages of democracy?
Definition of Democracy
. The word ‘democracy’ hails from the Greek word meaning ‘popular government’. Let us look at the definition of democracy and its advantages and disadvantages
Democracy, by definition, is a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them. It can also be defined as the political orientation of those who favor government by the people or by their elected representatives. What are the advantages and disadvantages of democracy? Let us find out.
Advantages of Democracy
Democracy can provide for changes in government without violence. In a democracy, power can be transferred from one party to another by means of elections. The jurisdiction of the citizens of a nation determines its ruling authority.
Moreover, any government is bound by an election term after which it has to compete against other parties to regain authority. This system prevents monopoly of the ruling authority. The ruling party has to make sure it works for its people for it cannot remain being the authority after completing its term unless re-elected by the people.
This brings in a feeling of obligation towards the citizens. The ruling authorities owe their success in the elections to the citizens of the nation. This results in a feeling of gratefulness towards the people. It can serve as their motivation to work for the people for it is the common masses that have complete power over choosing their government.
Another important advantage of democracy is that the people gain a sense of participation in the process of choosing their government. They get the opportunity to voice their opinions by means of electoral votes. This gives rise to a feeling of belongingness in the minds of the people towards their society.
Disadvantages of Democracy
In a democratic nation, it is the citizens who hold the right to elect their representatives and their governing authorities. According to a common observation, not all the citizens are fully aware of the political scenario in their country. The common masses may not be aware of the political issues in society. This may result in people making the wrong choices during election.
As the government is subject to change after every election term, the authorities may work with a short-term focus. As they have to face an election after the completion of each term, they may lose focus on working for the people and rather focus on winning elections.
Another disadvantage of democracy is that mobs can influence people. Citizens may vote in favor of a party under the influence of the majority. Compelled or influenced by the philosophies of those around, a person may not voice his/her true opinion.
Every form of government is bound to have some shortfalls. Different people have different views about the various political systems. The advantages and disadvantages of any political system have to be weighed carefully in order to arrive at and the greatest advantage of the democratic system is that it provides for changes of government without violence. Instead of power transferring to the group with the greatest number of soldiers prepared to fight and die for a cause we submit to the ideal that the number of votes will suffice in substitute. Of course this much better reflected the reality of the situation before weapons of mass destruction and the frailty of a integrated interdependent society reliant on its infrastructure and the threat of terrorism tipped the balance of numbers of feet on the ground towards those with the advantages of money, determination, or blinding ideology.
The obvious advantage of democracy is that the majorities of people living under a democratically elected government are happy with that government or at least participated in its rise to power and therefore they must shoulder part of the blame for its failings.
Another advantage is that typically there is an election term, which means that a government can only do so much damage before the opposition gets a chance to undo it.

Human being needs air
When we inhale oxygen present in the air, it enters into our body. It, after passing through the nose and the windpipe, reaches to our lungs. This oxygen combines with the blood present in the capillaries (hair-like veins) of the lungs. The blood then becomes bright red. This is called oxygenated blood or purified blood which goes to heart from lungs. From the heart the purified blood is distributed to all parts of the body. Reaching the body parts along with blood, oxygen acts upon the sugar (Glocose) present in the blood. This reaction produced energy and carbon dioxide. This energy (Heat) is needed by our body. This gas also combines with the blood and goes back with it to heart and from there it goes to the lungs. The lungs extra carbon dioxide into the air. The inhale and exhale of air together is called RESPIRATION and this system is called “RESPIRAORY SYSTEM.”
Air is useful:
Matter occupies space and it has mass. Air is also a state of matter. It also occupies space and mass too, we can not see the air but we feel it. Air helps in flying, burning and moving. It contains a great force when it blows. It is found in every where like:
Candles burn with the help of oxygen of the air.
Birds fly with the help of the movement of air.
Wind-wheels of wind-mill rotate with the force of air.
Spin-wheels moves with the force of air.

“What are women’s ”
In a truly Islamic society women have the following rights in Islam:
1. The right and duty to obtain education.
2. The right to have their own independent property.
3. The right to work to earn money if they need it or want it.
4. Equality of reward for equal deeds.
5. The right to express their opinion and be heard.
6. The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs and more.
7. The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice.
8. The right to obtain divorce from her husband, even on the grounds that she simply can’t stand him. (Please note that God deeply frowns upon divorce as a solution unless there is hardly any other alternative but it does not mean that men have more right to divorce their wives than women do.)
9. The right to keep all her own money (she is not responsible to maintain any relations).
10. Custody of their children after divorce.
11. To refuse any marriage that does not please them

Education makes a people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave.
MARIA MITCHELL:
We have a hunger of the mind which asks for knowledge of all around us, and the more we gain, the more is our desire; the more we see, the more we are capable of seeing.
MARIA MITCHELL:
Study as if you were going to live forever; live as if you were going to die tomorrow.
JOHN POWELL:
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

What is your success in ACCC and what is ACC mean to you?
Proud on ACCC:
ACCC is now our second home from where we are being educated which we could not even imagine, having Skype programs from the AIWR (Alliance for International Women Rights), and online educational programs from SAIT and professional beneficial vocational training programs from the best and kindest professional teachers in health, organizational behaviors, business administration, management and other needy professional programs in both English and computers which there is no such an organization in Kandahar providing such beneficial and effective programs with having the color of the new strategy and teaching methodology and is the case that now ACCC is the best in Kandahar and Afghanistan by my opinion.
A story:
Before establishing ACCC, I have studied English for a year in other school but I either could not simply talk to someone by English, but when I come to ACCC I could improve my English not only to talk peoples fluently but now I can write reports in just a six months period and the organizations I have had worked was an improvement period of success since I am in ACCC and as per my survey the ACCC students can find jobs easily then others as we see most of the organizations directorate in Kandahar is directing by ACCC students and teachers, so from this I can say that ACCC included each part of the practical proved education for overall enhancement of Kandahar peoples.
Result:
At the end I would say that I can’t find a word to thank ACCC for its much effective and beneficial programs but let’s thanks Ehsan Ullah Ehsan who has done all his best conducting these each separate program by taking much difficulties and challenges and made himself as a candle which burn itself and lighting for others and he is the reason of success of ACCC because he has controlled and managed it very well and we wish him all the best in his very very best services to Afghanistan and Kandahar.
Creative Thanking:
Dear Readers so now you decide what ACCC mean to us is?
Result
ACCC = Build your life and success on your challenge!!!
Closing: Cheers

Where Has The Peace Gone?
(Year 1950)
Life was so beautiful,
From morning to evening,
We enjoyed the road to school,
Birds chirped and
Peace lingered.
We were free to roam the city,
From every nook to corner,
All were friends- birds, animals
And we humans
Peace was gracious.
The minds of the people were clean,
The children played without fear,
The world was calm with no
dangerous threats
Peace danced.
What gorgeous days, I hope they had stayed.
(Year 2000)
Life is so insecure,
From afternoon to night,
We fear the road to school,
We may be kidnapped
Peace has gone.
We are forced to be in homes,
There may be destructive bombs,
Criminals are at large,
Nobody is to be trusted,
Peace has demolished.
People are disloyal,
The children are restricted to play,
We can’t have a sound sleep,
We may have a nuclear attack,
Peace is absent.
Where are those wonderful peaceful days?

Life is a game…
Life is a game,
A game of chess,
If you make a wrong move,
Your winning chances are less.
Life is so precious,
Life is so beautiful,
Life is a real game,
So make winning your aim.
Think about the move before you make it,
Because you don’t want to suffer your whole life for it.
Make sure you achieve your aim,
Because then you can move on to your next game.
Think of the people, who are waiting for your success,
Cheering for you throughout the entire race.
You don’t want to disappoint them and make them frown.
So make sure that you win and don’t let them down.
Win the game and make people behind you feel proud,
For the support they gave you by sticking around.
Thank them for being there and supporting you throughout the game,
And be thankful that you have all these people to support you reach your aim.

A Reason to Smile
There are very less, who gives a reason to smile,
May be it is for long, or a little while.
One have to give out a sweet and honest smile,
Just even to make someone smile for a while.
My eyes are in habit of tears,
Still there are moments when it does hears,
A pleasant smile from my heart with eyes full of tears.
Tears are more but no one is there to care,
Because a smile on the face makes it pretty, dear.
What is your defination for SMILE ? The defination for SMILE for me is:
S – Sincere to you
M – Measurable by heart
I – Intelligence developer
L – Luck loves to be with
E – Energy provider

Hate Anger Hate
Please stop fighting
Your words are senseless
Please stop shouting
There is no point
Please stop screaming
What’s the purpose?
Please stop passing
Your hateful words
Come sit beside me
Don’t you see?
How your words
Are affecting me?
How your words
Make me cry?
It makes me wish
The world would die
Please stop fighting
Your words are senseless
Please stop shouting
There is no point
Please stop screaming
What’s the purpose?
Please stop passing
Your hateful words

Life… be thankful for it
Love your life because you are living it,
It doesn’t matter what others think about it.
Love you friends because they are always around to help you,
What would have happened to your life if they weren’t with you?
Love your family because they care for you,
Can you think of your future without a family
living near by to help you?
Life is just a story that is being recited by god,
So whatever is happening is happening according to god.
Be thankful for the god, who made all these
people available to help you,
Because without these people around,
our lives would have been doomed.
