  • Psychological advantage of sajda

This is a great psychological advantage and it gives relief to the person concerned as life is full of worries and in this position he gets at least a transient refuge from the agonizing problems.

When a person goes to the position of Sajda (Prostration), his whole body is in active motion. This position can be considered as a mini dive as the musalli (one who offers prayer) goes to rest his forehead on the ground while his hands are placed at the sides. This brings most of the body muscles if not all in active motion and serves to give them some exercise. The hands are then specifically stretched out and thence the forearm as well as arm muscles are supposed to bear the weight in the Sajda (Prostration) position. It gives good exercise to the muscles of the upper limb. The Prophet (peace be upon him) in a hadith advised not to put the forearms flatly on the ground but to keep them elevated above ground and this is better for the forearm and arm muscles.

Sajda (Prostration) is a unique position as this is the only position in which brain (or head) becomes lower than the heart and hence for the first time the blood gushes towards the brain with full force whereas in all other positions (even when lying) brain is above the heart when it has to work against gravity to send blood to the brain. In the position of Sajda (Prostration) due to the increased blood supply the brain receive more nourishment and it has good effect upon memory, vision, hearing, concentration, psyche and all other cognitive abilities.

People who offer their prayers regularly have more will power and can cope with the difficulties of life in a much better manner.

They have less incidence of headaches, psychological problems and other defects of cognitive function. In the unique position of Sajda(Prostration) the neck muscles get best exercise. They have to bear the load when the forehead lies at the ground hence the neck muscles become stronger. One can note the tense pressure at the neck muscles in the position of Sajda(Prostration) specially the active motion of the neck and the facial muscles when the head is being lifted. (e.g. one inch above the ground) and it will be noticed that they are in a very active motion.

More strong cervical muscles mean the cervical vertebra will be better protected. Strength of cervical muscles is important as the head rests upon cervical vertebra supported by cervical musculature. In fact head performs rotator movements over the cervical vertebra. In any accident cervical neck examination is especially important to the physicians because of its extraordinary importance. It is uncommon that a person who offers his prayers regularly will get the usual neck myalgias or cervical spondylosis as the neck muscles particularly become very strong due to the 34 sajdas(Prostrations) offered daily in five prayers.

The unique position of Sajda (Prostration) also has positive effects upon the back muscles as while going into Sajda and getting up from it the back muscle contract actively and they become stronger. Probably it is because of this reason that a person who is regular in prayers will (rarely) get backache.

Finally it must be reminded that (even though) prayer is not meant to be an exercise, there are a lot of medical advantages associated with it.. Still the best blessing is the peace of mind, which a person derives by the accomplishment of his duty to Allah by fulfilling an obligation.

  • Dr. Herberman’s Precautionary 10 Steps about mobile phone (Summarized)
1 Keep children away from cell phones unless it’s an emergency. Children and developing fetal organs are most sensitive to electromagnetic fields (EMF) exposure.
2 Keep your cell phone as far as possible from your body. It’s safer to use your ear bud, Bluetooth or speaker phone. The greater the distance is between your body and the phone unit, the safer you are from possible EMF damage.
3 Use your cell phone in open areas where you’re not close to others and can inadvertently expose others to EM fields.
4 Keep your cell phone as far away from your body as possible at all times. In your pockets, under your pillow, and next to you on the night table is not considered far enough.
5 When you are carrying your cell phone, keep the back part where the battery is away from your body, with the keypad side facing your body.
6 Be brief on your cell phone; the longer you’re talking, the more you’re exposed to possibly dangerous EM fields.
7 When you’re talking on your cell phone, switch ears regularly so that you don’t concentrate the exposure in one area.
8 Try to use your cell phone only when your signal is strong.
9 Text messaging is safer than talking on the phone; opt for that whenever possible.
10 Select your cell phone device according to which one has the lowest specific absorption rate (SAR). Cell phone SAR details can be found on the internet..
    Thank you

  • HI

Is your goal to be a strong woman? What is a strong woman? There is no actual definition but a good start is…

Knows what she wants, even though she may not get it. Keeps her focus on the goal regardless of the distance. Knows who she is, including strengths and weaknesses. Has standards and isn’t afraid of expressing them. Flexible but determined. Doesn’t hide nor flaunt her intelligence. Takes care of others around her but remembers she is also a priority. Knows when to withdraw and when to join. And, mostly, is comfortable in her own skin.
    thank you

  • Respected All:
I wanted to tell you that this is the great time that we can calibrated the women day in Afghanistan.
Since the fall of the Taliban in late 2001, many would agree that the political and cultural position of Afghan women has improved substantially. The recently adopted Afghan constitution states that “the citizens of Afghanistan – whether man or woman- has equal rights and duties before the law”. So far, women have been allowed to return back to work, the government no longer forces them to wear the wall covering burqa, and they even have been appointed to prominent positions in the government despite all these changes many challenges still remain. The repression of women is still prevalent in rural areas where many families still restrict their own mothers, daughters, wives and sisters from participation in public life. They are still forced into marriages and denied a basic education, so by these entire things we will pray to have peace and development in our country and I wish all female and male students of ACCC to have great time and study hard, because you all can progress our country,It is our pleasure to have like ACC center in Kandahar city, and we have not misplaced this opportunity that Ehsan sahib brings for us in Kandahar city

    Warmest Wishes,
    Fatima Haydari

  • Top 10 Health Benefits of Lemon Water
Many people often love the tarty flavor of lemon juice in their dishes. But have you ever wondered that you can put this lemon juice to many more good uses than this? Yes! There are enormous benefits of lemon juice and water in your everyday life. You simply need to arm yourself with relevant knowledge and you would soon start valuing this amalgamation more than ever.

Lemon is an inexpensive, easily available citrus fruit, popular for its culinary and medicinal uses. It is used to prepare a variety of food recipes such as lemon cakes, lemon chicken and beverages like lemonade and lemon-flavored drinks. It is also used for garnishing. Lemon juice consists of about 5% citric acid that gives a tarty taste to lemon. Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C. It also contains vitamins like vitamin B, riboflavin and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium as well as proteins and carbohydrates. Lemon is generally consumed in the form of lemon juice or lemon water. Lemon water makes a healthy drink, especially when taken in the morning. Daily consumption of lemon water provides a number of health benefits like:

    Good for stomach

Lemon can help relieve many digestion problems when mixed with hot water. These include nausea, heartburn and parasites. The intake of lemon juice can cure constipation. It is even known to help relieve hiccups when consumed as a juice. Lemon juice acts as a liver tonic and helps you digest your food by helping your liver produce more bile. It decreases the amount of phlegm produced by your body. It is also thought to help dissolve gallstones.

    THANK YOU

  • This is a very good article. Not only about the hot water after your meal, but about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this “sludge” reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine . Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer . It is best to drink hot soup or hot water/tea after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks – You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let’s be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.

  • Date: April 16, 2010
    To: All staff
    From: Sharifa Arzoo
Subject How to increase our customers

Providing high quality products and fine behaving with customers are the most
important ways of increasing our customers.

    The below are the steps:

    1. Produce high quality products, by buying high quality thing from a shop or company the customer tends to refer back to the shop or company.

    2. Behave honestly with all customers; if you talk with one customer about some thing (product) in one way and with another one talk differently the customer may lose his/her trust on you.

    3. Sell at specific and fair price; if you sell some thing at high price your customer may not refer to you back, for not wasting their time they may go to another place.

    4. Answer every customer in turn

    5. No one is allowed to speak by mobile phone while selling; you should not talk in mobile when you are with customer because it can be possible that the customer may think this shop or place does not take care of its customers

    6. Answer every complaint fairly

    7. Behave in good manner with each other; if you behave well and have good relationship with each other it will have positive influence on the customers.

    8. Do not allow to make noise in the shop

    9. Do not be absent; if you are absent lots of days the company or the shop may look irregular

    10. After a break, all employees must be available to customers. If a customer comes in and there is nobody available to help him/her, it may look bad and they may not recommend your shop or service to others in the future.

By disobeying any of the above steps, it is possible to have a bad name in the bazaar
    and have fewer customers.

    Sincerely,

    Sharifa Arzoo

Solution and this habit find ways to influence individual differences to
Create a greater whole than sum of the parts.

Seventh Habit: Sharpen the Saw: It does take time out from
Production to build production capacity through personal renewal of
the physical, metal, Social and spiritual dimensions and as well it
Maintains a balance among these dimensions
