Government of Canada to provide more than $60,000 in funding to the ACCC for capacity building project

The Government of Canada has agreed to provide the Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC) with more than $60,000 in funding to establish the Kandahar Capacity Building program, to begin on May 1st 2008 and continue until May 30th 2009.

Director of Foreign Affairs Kandahar personally donates computer to ACCC

Shah Ahmad Saeed, the Director of Foreign Affairs Kandahar, has generously given a high-speed computer to the Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC). This computer, complete with all accessories, can be used with ACCC NComputing devices to create the equivalent of several individual computers, thus reducing the costs of both computer equipment and electricity.

ACCC students provide gift of education to future students

Computer lab to be dedicated to Brendan Choi, second new lab will also be built

General Manager of the AWCC visits ACCC, provides gifts and supplies to staff and students

Eng. Ahmad Shah of the Afghan Wireless Communications Company (AWCC) recently visited the Afghan-Canadian Community Centre. During the visit, Ahmad Shah generously provided 200 mobile phone cards (SIM cards) to staff and students.
