ACCC Celebrates Spring Graduation

Kandahar Graduation a Landmark Achievement for Afghan Women

On November 2nd, 2009 a landmark ceremony was held in Kandahar to celebrate the graduation of 140 female students from the Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC). Canada eSchool to sponsor courses for ACCC students

Ehsan Ullah delivers assistance from Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan to victims of recent attack

Ehsan Ullah, Director of the Afghan-Canadian Community Center, has delivered financial assistance on behalf of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan to victims of the recent acid attack against students of the Mirwais Nika Girls High School. Government of Canada to provide more than $60,000 in funding to the ACCC for capacity building project

The Government of Canada has agreed to provide the Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC) with more than $60,000 in funding to establish the Kandahar Capacity Building program, to begin on May 1st 2008 and continue until May 30th 2009.
